Nicole & Darcy are going to be spending a couple of months at Machester Childrens Hospital whilst Darcy goes through her treatments.

We’re going to keep this site as up-to-date as possible for those interested in their progress.

For more information on JMML including what you can do to help just keep on scrolling to the FAQ section.

We’re also raising money for the hospital so please take a look at our page

FAQs

  • Juvenile Myelomonocytic Leukemia (JMML) is a rare and serious form of blood cancer that typically affects young children. It involves the overproduction of immature white blood cells, which can impact the bone marrow and other organs

  • A bone marrow transplant is the most effective way of treating JMML, it involves replacing the diseased bone marrow with healthy bone marrow, which can help in the production of new and healthy blood cells and potentially curing the leukemia

  • You can register to be a bone marrow donor here —-> Bone Marrow Donor

  • This can vary from person to person but we’re looking at an 8 - 12 week hospital stay during which time Darcy will start to produce new blood cells and can be closely monitored by doctors should their be any complications

  • Well you’re veery kind to ask!
